Porcelain Vase Phases, H 21 cm

For the US-based artist Dror Benshetrit, the vase symbolizes the experience of transformation in life. Consequently, the development of his *Vase of Phases* involved several stages of creation. It begins with a vase featuring a feminine form which—in accordance with the artist’s intent—enters an experimental phase upon being shattered. These transformations are rendered visible through blurred cracks and smoothed-out folds on the "broken" object, lending the *Vase of Phases* a new kind of beauty. The *Vase of Phases* is available in black or white. Designer: Studio Dror
