Teak does not require impregnation and is very weather-resistant due to its high content of natural oils. Over time, however, it develops a silvery-grey patina and, as a natural product, can develop small cracks when exposed to rain and light. These do not affect the service life and quality, but can be prevented by regular treatment with teak oil.
