While lacquered/foiled surfaces are durable, they can still scratch over time. Avoid using strong cleaning agents or sulfates, as they can dull the finish and cause scratches. Although the lacquer/foil offers protection, it does not make the surface 100% waterproof, so it's best to avoid leaving liquids on the surface for extended periods.
